Suit Against the State of Maine Settled

On November 24, 2014, the Maine Superior Court approved a settlement in a case brought by Bruce McGlauflin and Jerry Petruccelli on behalf of a class of disabled Mainers against the State, seeking to secure housing and other essential Medicaid-funded services.

As counsel for the plaintiff class, both Bruce and Jerry were interviewed on Maine Public Radio’s “Maine Things Considered” about the settlement agreement between their clients and the State of Maine.

Under the settlement approved by the court, the State has committed to providing these crucial services to some of Maine’s most vulnerable citizens. You can hear the interview here.
