On April 15, 2009, Jim Haddow presented oral argument to the Maine Law Court in State Farm Insurance v. Koshy, a case in which the Law Court is being asked to clarify further the appropriate sequence and timing for determinations by a trial court of an insurer’s duties to defend and indemnify its insured. Mr. Haddow represents the insured, Mr. Koshy, in the declaratory judgment action commenced by State Farm.
