Jim Haddow has been elected as a fellow of the American Bar Foundation, an honorary society of attorneys, judges and legal scholars who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in the profession and service to society.

The number of Fellows in each state is limited to one percent of the total number of lawyers in the state. In Maine, the list includes leaders of the active bar, current and former state and federal judges, and law school deans.

The American Bar Foundation is the nation’s leading research institute for interdisciplinary empirical study of law.
