On May 21, Jim Haddow and his son, Max Ritchie, will present a “Father-Son Communication” workshop at the 9th annual Boys to Men Conference at the Abromson Community Education Center on the USM campus in Portland. Mr. Haddow and his son have been presenting this workshop at the Boys to Men conference each year for the past three years. The conference is designed as a day-long adventure for middle and high school aged boys and their fathers and adult male mentors. The theme of this year’s conference is “Standing Together to Prevent Substance Abuse and Promote Wellness.
