BRADFORD A. PATTERSHALL was born in Farmington, Maine on October 12, 1972. He is admitted to practice in Maine, the United States District Court for the District of Maine, and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
Mr. Pattershall earned a B.A. in Economics from Colby College in 1994, and earned his J.D. cum laude from the University of Maine School of Law in 1999. During law school, he was a member of the Moot Court Board, and in 1998 his fluency in French enabled him to study law at the Université du Maine in Le Mans, France. As an undergraduate, Mr. Pattershall received a four-year scholarship from the Maine State Golf Association and earned his varsity letter in baseball. He studied at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland during his junior year.
Mr. Pattershall was recently selected as a Future Star by Benchmark: Litigation 2010 and as a Rising Star by New England Super Lawyers 2009. In 2004, he received the Maine Bar Foundation's Pro Bono Publico Award for having completed the most hours by a Maine attorney on Volunteer Lawyers Project cases.
Mr. Pattershall is a member of the Maine State and Cumberland County Bar Associations, the Maine Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Freeport Assessment Review Board, American Mensa, Ltd., and the Maine State Golf Association. He has mentored as a big brother with Big Brothers Big Sisters and has been a presenter at the annual Maine Boys to Men seminar in Portland.
