Environmental Law

In the field of environmental law, the firm has represented clients before the Maine Department of Environmental Protection in matters involving air, land and water quality.  Our work has ranged from helping towns develop local environmental ordinances to advising individuals on shoreland zoning issues to working with business clients to develop Supplemental Environmental Projects as part of the process of settling civil enforcement actions.  We also teach environmental law at seminars attended by lawyers and other land use professionals.
